Description
Hicks Farm is a farmhouse, now a house, with a datestone indicating it may have been remodeled in 1630. The building is rendered and features pantile roofs. It stands 2½ storeys tall and has three windows, plus one in a single-storey west wing. All windows are 19th and 20th century casements. The main block has two tall gables with attic windows, a central door with storm doors, and one first-floor window above. There is a gabled porch on the left (west) that leads into the wing, which has one window. Inside, there is a stone winder stair with an octagonal newel at the back of the passage, two inglenooks, and stop-chamfered beams with scroll stops. An ovolo-moulded door frame connects the passage and hall.
