Description

Lower Shire Hill Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, which was restored in the 1970s. It is built of rubble and features a plain 20th-century tiled roof with coped raised verges and saddle stones. The building has two storeys and attics. On the ground floor, there are two windows and a central door, while the first floor has four windows. The windows are two- and three-light casement types with moulded mullions and surrounds, some of which are situated under dripmoulds. The central entrance is a plank door.
