Description

Latimer Lodge is a house dating from the mid to later 18th century, originally listed as Latimer Farmhouse. It is constructed of painted rubble stone with a stone-tiled roof, coped gables and end wall stacks. The main part of the house is two storeys high with a three-window front, featuring cyma-moulded flush mullion windows with 20th-century leaded lights. A first-floor dripcourse is broken to accommodate a 20th-century stone-tiled porch positioned centrally. An extension is located at the east end, and a lean-to is present at the west end. There are also paired rear extensions of two storeys, added in the 19th century, with slate roofs.
