Description

No. 79 Broad Street is an early 19th-century building constructed of ashlar stone. It features a hipped slate roof that is set behind a pierced parapet and has a moulded cornice. The building stands three storeys tall and has three windows: the first floor has 15-pane glazing bar sash windows, while the second floor has 9-pane sash windows, all separated by a plat band. On the ground floor, there is a central tripartite window that is flanked by Ionic columns in antis. To either side of this window, there are panelled doors, each adorned with Tuscan pilasters and fanlights.
