Description

The Ring o' Bells is an inn with origins dating back to the 17th century, featuring alterations and additions from the 18th and 19th centuries, as well as modifications from the 20th century. It is constructed from pennant rubble with a stucco front and a painted and rendered rear, topped with a double Roman tiled roof and brick gable stacks. The building was originally L-shaped, including a rear wing to the right.

It stands two storeys high and has three windows on the front, along with a single-storey addition to the left. The ground floor features a door, two sashes, a 20th-century double door with a segmental hood supported by brackets, a small sash, and a triple window with a small central sash and an 8-pane sash on each side. There are two large gables that rise to ridge height, each containing a sash window and another sash to the left, with varied sizes.

The right side of the building has a single-storey addition with a 20th-century window. The rear includes a lower two-storey wing, with a gable on the left similar to the front, and various 20th-century windows. To the left of the wing, there is a two-light casement and a 6-pane sash at ground level, along with a 20th-century window under the eaves. The gabled wing on the right has a lower two-storey addition, featuring a three-light casement on the first floor to the right in the gable. The interior has not been inspected.
