Description

The Howard Tomb is a chest tomb located approximately 40 meters south of the Church of St Mary Blessed Virgin in Plympton. It dates from the 17th century and commemorates William Howard and his wife Francis, who both died in 1694. The tomb is constructed from coursed Plymouth limestone and features a projecting lid, with a rectangular shape.
