Perimeter wall. Late C18. Limestone rubble. Tall coped wall with interval buttress pilasters extends approx. 60m NNW-SSE to the E of the Master Ropemaker's office (qv). Formed part of the perimeter wall of the yard when it was extended in the late C18, and an important component in the security of the dockyard. Included as marking the extent of the late C18 dockyard.
