Description

Scotia and Edina are two attached small town houses dating from the 18th century, located on the north side of Fore Street in Plympton St Maurice. They are constructed with render over probable rubble and feature a steep dry slate roof that has two hipped roof dormers with 20th-century windows. The houses have a central rendered front lateral stack. The layout is shallow-depth, with the house on the left containing two rooms at the front and a central entrance hall, while the other house has one room at the front and its entrance on the left. The buildings are two storeys high and have a three-window range, with 20th-century windows and doors. The interior has not been inspected. These houses are included for their group value with No. 38.
