Description

Old Brewery Cottage is a pair of early 19th-century cottages, now combined into a single house. Located on the south side of Fore Street in Plympton St Maurice, Plymouth, the exterior is roughcast render with a dry slate roof and a brick stack rising from the rear ridge of the roof above the party wall. The building has a double-depth plan, originally housing one room at the front in each cottage, with entrance passages to the left and right. The right-hand passage served as a through passage to the rear. It is two storeys high with a three-window front. The original hornless sash windows have glazing bars, and the ground-floor sashes are slightly wider. Doorways are situated at the far left and right, the right-hand door featuring an old planked door. The interior has not been inspected, but may contain original features of interest.
