Description
The entrance lodge to Devonport High School for Boys is a building from the late 18th century or early 19th century, originally part of a former military hospital. It is constructed from coursed Plymouth limestone, with a roof that is concealed behind a moulded parapet entablature. The lodge has a small rectangular plan and is a single storey with a symmetrical front featuring two windows. The windows have dressed stone architraves and are blocked, while there is a single panel door at the central doorway. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
