Description
The Gothic seat, located to the south-east and just below the east Terraced Garden at the end of Yew Tree, was likely designed around 1865 by John Norton. It is constructed from ashlar stone. The base features a row of blank quatrefoils, while the back displays a pierced arcade made up of cusped ogee panels. The stone sides are panelled and supported by square piers that are topped with urns.
