WRAXALL TYNTESFIELD PARK Gothic Seat, to the south-east and immediately below the east Terraced Garden, and at the end of Yew Tree

GV II

Gothic seat. Probably c.1865 by John Norton. Ashlar. The base of the seat has a row of blank quatrefoils; the back has a pierced arcade of cusped ogee panels; and the panelled stone sides have square piers surmounted by urns. (The Builder, 10.II.1866. Country Life, 17.V.1902).
