Description
Holy Trinity Church was built in 1861 by H. Lloyd and is designed in the Decorated style. The church is constructed from local carboniferous limestone rubble with freestone dressings and has slate roofs. It features a five-bay nave and a two-bay chancel, with north and south aisles. The west tower is three stages high, topped with a crocketted spire and pinnacles. The tower's doors and windows have triangular hood moulds. Inside, there is notable 19th-century glass, including a 'patchwork' window that contains fragments of late medieval glass. Holy Trinity Church is a key feature of the significant Atlantic Road group.
