Description
Priory Farmhouse is a farmhouse dated 1756, likely a remodelling of a 17th-century house. It features a render that is lined out to resemble ashlar, a pantiled roof, and rendered stacks. The building has three storeys and three bays, with 24-pane glazing bar sash windows and one 12-pane sash window in the centre of the first floor, all set in exposed boxes. The attic contains 2-light casement windows. A central panelled door with strap hinges, which have open scroll ends and is a re-used 17th-century door, is situated beneath a shell hood supported by brackets. On the top floor, there is an incised ashlar datestone to the right and a carved mask of a grinning lion's head with a full mane to the left. To the right, there is a two-storey wing that includes a glazing bar sash window and a 20th-century door.
