Description
St. George's Hall is a rectory that has been converted into offices, built around 1820. The building features ashlar stonework and hipped slate roofs that are set behind a parapet, along with a moulded cornice. It is two storeys high with a main block that has three bays; the central bay is slightly set forward while the sides are recessed. The windows are glazing bar sash types, framed in shouldered architraves, with the central first-floor window having an arched head. There is a central portico supported by four Ionic columns, with panelled doors set in a moulded architrave. To the left, there is a lower two-storey, two-bay wing, and to the right, a single-storey, four-bay conservatory featuring glazing bar sash windows, Tuscan columns, and pilasters around the doorcase. Inside, there is a stone staircase that wraps around three sides of the hall, complemented by a cast iron balustrade.
