Description
Woodside and Denneyside is a house dated 1843, likely designed by J. R. Sturge. The house is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and has a roof of small, scalloped slates. It has two and a half storeys, with three windows featuring glazing bar sashes with arched heads. These windows sit under squaredrip moulds with carved stops in slightly projecting bays that terminate in gables, the central gable featuring an elaborate bargeboard. A timber bellcote with bargeboard and cast iron finial is also present. To the west is an attached single-storey conservatory with round-headed windows and octagonal columns. A single-storey projecting porch has a parapet and side windows.
