Description
Dolphin Cottage is a house that likely dates from the early 19th century. It is constructed of colourwashed granite rubble and features a gabled slate roof added in the 20th century, along with granite end stacks. The building has a two-unit central-staircase plan and a later 19th-century outshut at the rear. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-window arrangement. The windows have granite lintels and include a 20th-century four-panelled door and horned four-pane sashes. The interior has not been inspected. Dolphin Cottage is part of a group of cottages located in Dolphin Town, which is situated to the east of the Church of St. Nicholas.
