Description

Avenue House is a house built in the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed granite rubble and features a slurried scantled slate roof, with granite end stacks that have drip courses. The house has a two-unit central-staircase plan and stands two storeys tall with a two-window range. It has granite lintels above a late 19th-century plank door and horned 2/2-pane sash windows. There is a later outshut to the rear left, which includes a brick stack. Inside, the house has 19th-century joists.
