Description
Myrtle Cottage is a farmhouse that has been converted into a house, dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed from roughly coursed granite rubble that has been colourwashed, topped with a slate roof and features granite end stacks with drip courses. The building has a three-unit plan with the entrance located to the right of the center. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range. The windows feature granite lintels above late 19th-century panelled doors and horned 2/2-pane sashes. There is an outshut to the left and another outshut at the rear left. The interior has not been inspected, but it is noted to have 19th-century joists.
