The cottage is one-and-a-half storeys high and has two windows with renewed wooden casements, each containing two lights and glazing bars. A 20th-century front door is located left of centre, constructed of wood with glass panels. A single 17th-century window is present on the north wall, a casement type with two lights and twelve lead lights. Inside, the cottage features ceiling beams with large straight chamfers and filleted stops. There is a large open fireplace with a wooden lintel, also straight-chamfered, alongside a bread oven within the left-hand jamb. A keeping place is situated high up on the rear wall. The roof construction comprises halved oak rafters with through purlins.
