Description

The Cottage is an early 19th-century building located on the south side of Pound Lane. It features a chequer brick front that has been colourwashed, and it has a hipped slate roof with rendered stacks. The building is two storeys high and has two flush-framed sash windows with glazing bars in moulded cases on the first floor, and one sash window on the ground floor, which is fitted with shutters. The entrance door consists of six fielded panels set within a moulded frame, topped by a gabled hood supported on brackets.
