Description

The bridge over the River Piddle and the adjacent wall along the south side of the river were likely built in the early 19th century. The brick bridge features three shallow segmental arches, each with projecting keystones. It has a solid parapet topped with shaped stone coping. The wall along the south side of the river is partly constructed of rubble stone and also has shaped coping. There is a small gap in the wall that includes stone steps leading down to the river.
