Description

The Cider House, located 95 metres east-south-east of Dormouse Cottage, is an early 19th-century structure used for cider production, featuring operational machinery for pressing and storage. It has rubble stone walls and a slate roof with gable ends. The building includes a central plank stable door with a loft door above it, and a small window to the left, framed with wooden planks and stone arch voussoirs. A wooden notice on the stable door states: "Harry E.R. Warren Licensed to sell cider to be consumed off the premises. To be closed on Sundays and at night one hour earlier than ordinary closing time."
