Description

Becklands Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from around 1700. It features coursed Lias stone walls and a thatch roof with gable ends. There are two brick stacks located at the left and right gables, and a buttress at the northeast corner. The building is 1½ storeys high and has three windows with voussoirs, which are three-light 20th-century wooden casements with modern glass. The front door, located at the center, is a 20th-century metal and glass design. Inside, there is a stone fireplace with a Tudor-arch head and moulded jambs, although this fireplace is not original to the house.
