Description
Buckler's Farmhouse and the attached barn are a farmhouse and barn structure dating from the late 17th century, with some alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building features coursed and dressed stone walls and a clay-tile roof with gable ends and stone gable copings. There are late 19th century brick stacks located on the left side of the ridge, at the center, and on the right-hand gable. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has three windows, all of which are three-light wood casements with glazing bars, wood cills, and lintels. The front door, located to the left of center, is panelled with the upper half glazed and has a wood lintel, dating from the 19th century. The attached barn to the north has rubble stone walls and a clay-tile roof, featuring one loop left of center. It has two-leaf blank doors raised on brick piers for the threshing floor, also with a wood lintel from the 19th century.
