Description

This is a late 18th-century cottage with a later addition to the left. It is constructed of coursed rubble and has a tiled roof with gable ends, featuring brick stacks on the gables of the original range. The original part of the cottage is symmetrical in design. All the windows are 3-light casements with horizontal glazing bars; the addition also incorporates a 3-light casement with glazing bars. Upper-floor windows are protected by wooden lintels. A 20th-century porch has been added. An ashlar plat band runs under the eaves. A single-light iron casement with leaded lights is set into the right gable, opening outwards.
