Description

The stone urn located 9 meters north-west of the north-west corner of Milton Abbey School is a garden ornament, likely from the 18th century. It features a lion mask at the top, with upswept scrolls on either side, supported by two putti that hold draped wreaths of flowers. The urn is set on a stone pedestal, which has a cap that projects at each end and is supported by carved consoles.
