Description

Stourfield is a row of cottages that have been combined into one dwelling. It dates from the late 17th century and features a three-bay house with an early 19th-century addition at the south end, along with 20th-century restoration work. The exterior has rendered walls, with brick at the rear, and cambered openings on the ground floor. The roof is thatched, with a lower eaves at the rear and 20th-century flat-roofed dormers. The wide east elevation is two storeys high and has four windows, which are casements. There is a doorway set within a wide opening, flanked by windows beside a plain boarded door.
