Description

The table tomb to Thomas Goodwin is located 1 metre south of the chancel of St Thomas A'Beckett's Church. This Grade II listed structure dates from 1609 and is made of plain ashlar blocks. It features a flat top with a cavetto edge and has lettering in banded relief. The Royal Commission on Historical Monuments (RCHM) refers to the deceased's name as Thomas Forward.
