Description
These buildings, located to the east of and adjoining Victoria House on Howard's Lane, date from the 17th or 18th century and were originally a pair of cottages. They are constructed from colourwashed rubble and brick, featuring a pitched tile roof with sections of stone slate and stone slate eaves. The buildings are one storey high with attics.
The façade includes one sash window with glazing bars, one modern window, one barred window with glazing bars, one stable door with six fielded panels, one Yorkshire casement window, and one planked coach door. There are two attic dormers, both with hipped tile roofs and tile-hung cheeks; one dormer has a planked loft door, while the other features a sash window with glazing bars.
