Description

Three table-tombs located 37-39 metres south of the tower of the Church of St Nicholas, dating from the mid to late 18th century. The first tomb has bulbous ends, a moulded cornice, and a flat top block, commemorating Sarah, the wife of Deumann, although the rest of the inscription is illegible. The second tomb features recessed panel sides, a moulded cornice, and a top block, dedicated to Matthew Devenish of this parish, who died in 1791, with the remainder of the inscription also illegible. The third tomb has two fielded panels on each side and a hipped top block, but its inscription is not readable.
