Description
The White and Unidentified Monument, located 8 to 10 metres north of the Churchyard Cross in Cerne Abbas, consists of two table-tombs from the 18th century made of stone. The first tomb, closest to the cross, features fielded panels with octagonal central panels on each side, inscribed with "....... WHITE". The second tomb, situated further from the cross, has two semi-circular recessed panels on each side with a slight chamfer. It is adorned with large fleuron bosses and shell-heads at each end, and includes a moulded cornice and a flat top block.
