Description

The Budden Monument is a table-tomb located 7 metres south of the south aisle of the Parish Church in Loders. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of stone, featuring plain pilasters and a moulded top block. The inscription commemorates John, the son of Robert and Joan Budden, who passed away on November 5th, 1789, at the age of 45. It also records the deaths of their two sons, William in 1790 and Henry in 1807.
