Description
The summer-house located in the south-west corner of the walled garden at Clifton House dates from the late 18th century. It features brick walls laid in Flemish bond with a parapet and has a flat roof, which is not visible behind the parapet. The structure is one storey high and sits on an undercroft.
On the north elevation, there are three windows, which are sash style with thick glazing bars, and each window has an architrave with dropped keys and stone cills, along with brick aprons. The central doorway, accessed by four steps, has a similar architrave and dropped key, and it includes a flush-panelled door with a top light above, also featuring glazing bars.
