Description

Stoford Bridge is a road bridge that spans a stream and dates from the 17th century, with possible origins in the 16th century. It is constructed from ashlar Hamstone and features two spans with semi-circular, slightly pointed arches supported by matching abutments. The bridge has parapets topped with iron railings above chamfered coping, which has been partly renewed on the south side. The middle pier includes a cutwater that faces upstream, with a standing bay positioned above it. The bridge is single-track and measures 14 metres in length.
