Description

The Green Man Inn is a building likely originating from the 18th century, which has been altered and enlarged in the 19th century. It features brick walls, a tiled roof, and brick stacks. The inn is two storeys high, with a single-storey lean-to at the front that has a slate roof. The main facade includes double-hung sash windows with a central glazing bar on both the ground and first floors, although one window on the first floor is now blocked by an advertisement. The original structure was a single pile that was expanded at the rear in the 19th century, with this addition designed to match the style of the original building, but it has a slate roof. The elevation facing Victoria Road has a large modern ground floor bay window and one metal casement window on the first floor.
