Description

The K6 telephone kiosk located outside the Post Office on The Street is a Grade II listed structure. This kiosk, designed by Sir Giles Gilbert Scott in 1935, was installed on 11 May 1958 and manufactured by W MacFarlane & Son Co Ltd. It is made of cast iron and features a square shape with a domed roof. The top panels display unperforated George VI crowns, and the windows and door have margin glazing.
