Detached Farmhouse. Dated I and A T 1705. Rubble-stone walls. Slate roof with stone gable-copings, with moulded scroll kneelers; Brick stacks at left hand gable, and at ridge right of centre. 2 storeys. 4 windows, 3-light stone mullions, straight-chamfered. Iron casements with horizontal glazing-bars: Separate labels over. Front door, left of centre, plank. Stone straight-chamfered jambs and depressed-arch head. Carved datestone over. Doorway at the back has a similar head, and there are some original windows with labels. RCHM Dorset I, p 30 (8).
