Description

The Old Barn, originally known as the Barn at King's Barton Farm, is a building likely dating from the 18th century that has been converted into a house. The structure features walls made of a combination of brick and flint, with some areas plastered. It has a tiled roof and a brick chimney. The building is single storey and includes a timbered lean-to porch with a tiled roof and a modern door. An old cart entrance has been infilled and replaced with a modern bow window. There are three modern casement windows with glazing bars. Although it has been altered for residential use, it retains group value as a former farm building and is currently used as a garage. The walls are partly brick and stone, with some sections rebuilt in concrete block, and the roof is covered with pantiles.
