Description
The barns located south-east of Tonerspuddle Farm House are a group of three ranges arranged around a courtyard, likely dating from the 18th century. The south range, which faces the road, features brick walls and a thatched roof, and is two storeys high. The ground floor of the eastern section is open on the north side, supported by circular brick piers, and includes timber ledged doors and casement windows. The east range is constructed from brick, cob, and stone, with a roof that is partly slated and partly covered with corrugated iron. It has a large cart entrance on the west side with a gabled porch, and a plain cart entrance on the east. The north range also has brick walls and a corrugated iron roof, featuring large cart entrances and timber casement windows. Despite some alterations, this group of barns remains noteworthy.
