Description

Scarfell Cottage, located at Nos 8 and 10 on Mount Scar, is likely from the late 18th century to early 19th century. The cottage features walls made of Purbeck stone and a slate roof, with brick chimney stacks. It is two storeys high. On the ground floor, there is an entrance door flanked by two double-hung sash windows that have glazing bars. The first floor has three similar sash windows. The end gables are topped with parapets and stone copings.
