Description
Clarence Cottage is likely of late 17th-century origin, with later enlargement during the late 19th century. It is constructed of Purbeck stone with a stone roof and is arranged in three sections. The southern section is single-storey, the central section two-storey, and the northern section three-storey. A projecting porch with a first-floor room above is situated on the east side. A lean-to conservatory with an asbestos slate roof and rendered wall base is attached to the west. Windows are casement in the southern and central sections, and double-hung sashes in the later northern section. High stone boundary walls enclose the garden and extend along Chapel Lane.
