Description
The stables and outbuildings to Purbeck House date from the same period as the house and are constructed from Purbeck Stone, featuring Purbeck Stone roofs. The stable yard is paved with stone setts, and there is a contemporary cast iron pump located in the yard. Above the gateway that connects the garden to the outbuildings, there is a carved stone panel that resembles one found on the wall of No 89 High Street. Additionally, a bust of Shakespeare, likely from the 18th century, along with stones from London Bridge, is set into a gable of the outbuildings.
