Description

The gazebo in the grounds of Purbeck House is a Grade II listed structure built in 1875. It is an octagonal store gazebo located at the east end of the terrace, accessible via a stone spiral staircase. The gazebo features tall slit windows and an ogee-shaped roof topped with a copper thistle. Above the entrance, there is a coat of arms belonging to George Burt. Inside, a plaque dated 1875 commemorates the construction of the house.
