Description
Nos 10, 11, and 11A on East Street form a late 18th-century terrace. The buildings have rendered walls and tiled roofs with slate courses at the eaves, and they are two storeys tall. The ground floors feature modern shop fronts, while the first floor facing East Street has four double-hung sash windows. The attic of No 11A includes one dormer with a hipped roof and a modern louvre window. The end elevation adjoining the river has a half-hipped roof and features a Venetian-style window in an elliptical arch on the first floor, with double-hung sashes and glazing bars. Other windows on this elevation have been recently renewed. Inside, the first floor of No 10 retains some 18th-century panelling.
