Description
This is a table tomb located 20 metres south of the south porch in Stoke Abbott, dating from the early 19th century. It is made of stone and commemorates John Tett, senior, and John Tett, junior, with the date 1835 inscribed. The tomb features a neo-classical design, with recess-panel pilasters and pediments on each side, adorned with acroteria at the corners. At the centre top, there is a rectangular plinth that supports a stone sarcophagus on feet.
