Description

Hains is a building with origins dating back to the 16th century, but it was largely rebuilt in the late 19th century. It features rubble walls and a gable-ended roof covered with tiles, complemented by a stone slate verge. There are stone stacks at both ends and partway along the ridge on the right side. The windows are 19th-century casements with two and three lights, which have returned labels. The porch has an elliptical, moulded arch topped with a finial. Inside, there is a ceiling with interesting deep-chamfered beams that include a carved boss.
