Description

An 18th-century barn is located on Great Down Lane in Marnhull. The barn is constructed of coursed rubble with a gable-ended, tiled roof. A hipped porch is situated on the south-west side. Later outshuts with cat-slide roofs have been added to the south-west. A cart-shed to the south-east may be of an earlier build. The interior features a collar truss roof with tie-beams and butt-purlins. Symmetrically placed slit ventilation holes are visible on the north-west side.
