Description

There are two table tombs located 12 metres and 16 metres south-east of Corscombe Church. The first tomb is made of stone and features fielded-panel pilasters. It is dedicated to the Popes of Toller Whelme and dates from the mid-18th century, with later inscriptions added. The second tomb, also made of stone, has fluted pilaster corners and a heavy cornice. It commemorates William Pope of Toller Whelme, who died on 11 December 1831.
