There are two table tombs located 5 to 6 metres south and southeast of the parish church in Powerstock. The first tomb dates from the 17th century and features stone sides with a heavy moulded top-block, although the inscription is illegible. The second tomb is made of white stone and has reeded pilaster corners, dedicated to John Shepherd and others, who died on 28 July 1842.
