Description

There are four table tombs located to the north and north-east of Corscombe Church. The first tomb, dating from the 18th century, has a broken cornice-slab and is sunk into the ground. The second tomb is made of stone and features ovolo-framed panels, with two panels on each side, a heavy cornice, and is dated 1702. The third tomb is also made of stone, with fluted-pilaster corners and one fielded panel on each side, although the inscription is not legible. The fourth tomb is made of stone with fielded panels and pilastered corners, also from the 18th century.
